In addition to facilities and programs at both Caltech and JPL, we offer a referral list of other day care providers in the San Gabriel Valley. Children's Center at Caltech (CCC) The Children's Center at Caltech is on the north side of the campus. They are open 7:30am to 5:45pm. Programs are open to children ages 6 months to 6 years. Tuition assistance is available.
The Children's Educational Center at JPL is one block from JPL. They are open 6:45am to 6:00pm. Programs are open to children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Tuition assistance is available.
Child Educational Center at Caltech (CEC) Offering Summer
and After School Programs for school age children, one block north
of campus. They are open 12:30 - 6:00pm. Programs are open to children
aged from kindergarten to 6th grade. Tuition assistance is available.
The Child Care Information Service is a private nonprofit corporation funded by the California State Department of Education and United Way. CCIS has a complete listing of licensed child care homes and centers in the San Gabriel Valley area (La Canada, Altadena, Pasadena, South Pasadena, San Marino, Sierra Madre, Arcadia, Monrovia and Duarte). They have information available in Spanish as well. The CCIS works on an individual basis to find a match based on proximity to parent's home or work, age of child, transportation needs and/or any special needs. They can be reached at (626) 445-3311. |
